Fraud is on the increase and criminals are using technological developments to commit new types of fraud and at a larger scale. In light of this, it is important that the fintech industry are aware of these challenges in order to protect both their customers and themselves.
This webinar aims at providing some introductory information into the subject of fraud. First speaker will be Jan Olsson, Superintendent and expert on fraud from the Swedish Police and Swedish Cybercrime Center who will be presenting some of the economic consequences of fraud, how it can be committed, and the effects of PSD2 and the pandemic. The second speaker will be John Erik Setsaas, VP of Identity and Innovation at Signicat who will provide some insights on electronic identification and how authentication can be made safer.
