SweFinTech's Secretary General, Roslana Cederhage, emphasizes in Dagens Industri that Sweden needs more alternatives for instant payments and digital identification to strengthen its resilience against future cyberattacks. Currently, the major banks are hindering the development of alternative solutions, which increases vulnerability.

“A political ambition would be welcome here. Politicians need to make the banks understand the necessity of opening up, so that citizens can make instant payments with other providers or log in through other means when Bank-ID is down,” says Roslana Cederhage.
